Delphi.fdc has been renamed to "Amadeus Sales & Event Management - Advanced." Sometimes we call it Advanced Module for short.
When you update to R32, you'll notice the new name in a few places, like these tabs:
Old Name | New Name |
Delphi.fdc Training & Help | Amadeus Training & Help |
Delphi.fdc Reports | Amadeus Reports |
Delphi.fdc Settings | Amadeus Settings |
Delphi.fdc User Settings | Amadeus User Settings |
We've introduced a new way to change the status of a booking. On the Booking page, the Status field is now read-only. Instead, you'll click the new Change Status button.
This opens a new window that includes important fields for tracking and managing lost business. You no longer need to change the booking status in one place and then complete the Lost fields in another—now you can do it all from a single location.
Just remember when you're editing a booking and you can't modify the Status field, click Save and then click the Change Status button.
You've been waiting for this one. If you need to change the status of a booking to Lost, Cancelled, or Turned Down, click the new Change Status button on the Booking page. After you select an inactive status in the Change Booking Status window, you'll see a new option to Mark all existing Booking Activities Completed. Select this option and all open tasks for that booking will be marked complete. No need to be reminded to send the BEO or request the rooming list—those tasks are no longer relevant. This keeps the My Tasks section of the Home page accurate and allows you to focus on real work.
This does not apply to appointments—you might still need to meet with the customer or operations to work out the cancellation details.
Displaying your property logo on contracts and other customer-facing documents is an important part of presenting a professional brand presence. By adding your property logo, corporate administrators can create one corporate document template that all properties use. This ensures everyone has the most current version and the company is presenting a unified brand experience.
On the Property page, upload a property-specific logo, and then add the logo merge field to your document templates.
Even if you don't use corporate templates, you can still take advantage of this new feature, and if your property logo changes, you'll only have to update it in one place—instead of editing each template individually.
Only corporate revenue classifications can be used in corporate merge templates. Therefore, if a property has their own revenue classifications, they must create a property-specific template for the BEO, Banquet Check, and Booking Check.
For step-by-step instructions, see Add a property logo to document templates.
We're continuing to upgrade your favorite reports to the new report viewer so they run faster and can be exported to Excel, PDF, and a host of other formats. In the Preview Reports section of the Amadeus Reports tab, you'll see the following new reports:
- Activity Report
- Account Listing
- Top Accounts Report
- Contact Listing Report
- Guestroom Pace Report
- Productivity Report
- Productivity Verification Report
We'll eventually replace the existing reports with the new version, but for now, you have access to both reports. Please take a minute to try these new reports and let us know (email support) if you have any issues or feedback during the preview period.
Do you have any old properties in your picklist that start with DNU (Do Not Use) or ZZZ? Say farewell to this clutter and use the new Deactivate feature on the Property page. If your company sells or closes a property and it should not be booked anymore, a corporate administrator can now deactivate it. Corporate and system administrators will still be able to run reports on the inactive property's historical data, but the property will no longer display in other picklists. See Deactivate properties.
Amadeus Sales & Catering has two modules - Delphi and Delphi Select. As of R32, we support having these modules in the same org. This allows shared sales teams to book business across the portfolio, streamlines administrative tasks for corporate administrators, and centralizes reporting. See Manage Delphi, Delphi Select properties in the same org.
