New features
- Activity goals and enhanced Activity report. (CR0091432) Are you required to complete a certain number of prospecting calls or entertainment appointments each month? Administrators can now enter weekly, monthly, or quarterly goals per sales manager. As you enter and complete activities, progress is recorded and can be viewed using the Activity report on the Amadeus Reports tab. See Create activity goals
- Clone events from existing bookings. (CR0089682, CR122330) You've always been able to clone events within a booking and that's a great time saver. But in this release, we've kicked it up a notch. If you have access to view the booking, then you can copy its events—including events that are at a different property. See Booking Event Search window
- Automatically default double, triple, and quad occupancy rates. (CR0014629) On the Property page, administrators can now define a default upcharge amount for double, triple, and quad occupancies—this saves sales managers from having to manually enter those rates. In the booking, when a sales manager enters the single guestroom rate, the double, triple, and quad rates automatically populate based on the upcharge amount (single rate entered + upcharge amount). See Enable default occupancy upcharge.
- Booking Banquet Check Summary report. (CR0132663) When your customer wants to know the estimated charges for all events in their program, including tax and gratuity, click the new BC Summary Report button on the Booking page. All revenue, including events at multiple properties, is displayed in the Grand Total section at the top of the page.
- Type-ahead search option for properties with 50+ event classifications or function rooms. Properties with more than 50 event classifications or 50 function rooms will notice two new Search boxes when filtering on the Manage Events page. Use the type-ahead functionality—no more scrolling—to quickly filter the list by event classification or function room.
- Property has events indicator. On the Manage Events page, you'll now see a blue dot next to the property name—this indicates that the current booking has events there. This is a small detail, but it's a nice visual indicator when entering and working with cross property bookings.
- Short date format. Hospitality professionals are always working with dates. Now you can forget about the leading zeros and enter the date in short format. For example, if you enter the date as 1/2/19, the system will adjust it to 01/02/2019.
Fixed issues
CR0130435: Special characters (like a backslash \) can be used in a room block name without issue.
CR0132343: Choice groups can be deleted without errors.
CR0129551: The correct on-hand inventory is now displayed when searching for menus and items.
CR0132540: You can now merge banquet checks, booking checks and other documents that calculate taxes with bookings that have more than 15 room blocks.
CR0132215, CR0132422: Integration messages now process correctly in orgs using workflows that update inquiry fields with booking data.
CR0132219: Administrators at properties with a PMS integration have more information when viewing Failed to Update Task messages. For example, "PMS failed to update Amadeus."
September 19, 2019 (R35 P3)
CR0132526: When changing a booking's status using the Change Status button, if the process is interrupted, booking day snapshots are recorded for the information that was successfully updated before the process stopped.
August 15, 2019 (R35 P1)
CR0132458: In the Modify Room Block page, the Room Block Status field is correctly labeled.
CR0132286: Batch merge and picklist mappings function as expected in a sandbox that has a custom domain.
July 30, 2019 (R35)
New features
- Change Log prompt on distributed BEOs. (CR0122143, CR0122732, CR0131273) When a BEO has been marked as distributed, you will now be prompted to make a change log entry when you edit the BEO details. See Overview: Change Log entries
- Amadeus Security Log. Using this new tab, corporate administrators can audit changes that are made to security-impacting settings such as user access, property access, and feature toggles. See Amadeus Security Logs
- BEO numbers print on diagrams. If you are integrated with Delphi Diagramming, the BEO number assigned to the event will now display on the diagram. This will work for both single print and batch print diagrams.
- Opera PMS Integration. To support compliance with GDPR and data privacy, inbound reservation records will no longer populate personal data fields on the Reservation object such as guest name, address, and phone numbers.
- Enable Function Room Rental Shortcuts. (CR0090803, CR0090526) Before R35, you had to save the event before you could see the default function room rental. Enabling this new option streamlines this process by allowing you to view the rental amount while creating the event. It also resolves issues related to forecasted event revenue not populating. Now the function room rental automatically populates the forecasted rental fields as expected. Corporate administrators can Enable Function Room Shortcuts from the Amadeus Settings page.
- Keeping you in the loop. Some application logic that communicates with Amadeus Hospitality Web Services (AHWS) has been moved to a Salesforce extension package, called Amadeus Hospitality Data Collection (AHDC). System and corporate administrators will now see this new extension package listed in Setup under Installed Packages. You'll also see a new set of workflows prefixed with AHDC. These changes have no impact on how you and your team use the system or on your data storage.

April 2, 2019 (R33 P1)
New features
- New guestroom tables for merge document templates. (CR0121823, CR0128933, CR0122254) We’ve added a new guestroom table that displays daily totals by room type and totals for the entire booking. And that’s not all. For those of you who have bookings with multiple room blocks at different properties, we’ve got you covered. The table will display each room block with daily totals by room type and property, as well as totals for the entire booking. You can choose if you want to use the table that displays the agreed or blocked values.
- Guestroom Pace Verification report. (CR0121558) The new Guestroom Pace Verification report is available in the Preview Reports section of the Amadeus Reports tab. The report displays a list of each booking that was included in the Guestroom Pace report. If you see an anomaly in the Guestroom Pace report, run the Verification report to identify potential data entry issues that could be affecting the report totals.
Starting April 2, 2019, this report will automatically display for all orgs on R31 or higher – you don’t have to wait for an update to R33.
Fixed issues
CR0131300, CR0131258, CR0131142: Historically, subtotals were rounded to two digits and then added together to present the grand total in merge documents and reports. To improve accuracy, we’re now calculating with four digits and then rounding the totals to the two digits that display. This applies to the following:
- Banquet Check
- Advanced Booking Merge Documents (including the Booking Check)
- Account Recap Report
- Account Hierarchy Report
- Productivity Report
- Pace Report
- Banquet Check Summary Report
CR0127426: When you clone a booking and its events, the Post checkbox retains the value from the original event. Also, the At Definite Revenue values do not carry over on a cloned booking.
CR0132069: Properties with a PMS interface will no longer receive errors for inbound inventory sync messages.
March 21, 2019 (R32 P2)
Fixed issues
CR0132002: Converting an inquiry to a booking no longer causes a field access error.
February 25, 2019 (R32)
New features
- New product name. Delphi.fdc has been renamed to "Amadeus Sales & Event Management - Advanced." Sometimes we call it Advanced Module for short. When you update to R32, you'll notice the new name in a few places, like these tabs:
Old Name | New Name |
Delphi.fdc Training & Help | Amadeus Training & Help |
Delphi.fdc Reports | Amadeus Reports |
Delphi.fdc Settings | Amadeus Settings |
Delphi.fdc User Settings | Amadeus User Settings |
- Multiple modules in the same Salesforce org. Amadeus Sales & Catering now has two modules - Delphi and Delphi Select. As of R32, we support having these modules in the same org. This allows shared sales teams to book business across the portfolio, streamlines administrative tasks for corporate administrators, and centralizes reporting. See Corporate administrator's guide to managing multi-module orgs
- Property logo. On the Property page, you can now upload a property-specific logo, and then add the logo merge field to your document templates. That's right, corporate administrators no longer have to manage multiple copies of the same document template just to have a different logo on each. You can now use one corporate template for BEOs, banquet checks, contracts, and other document templates. See Add a property logo to merge templates
- A new way to change a booking's status. We've introduced a new way for you to change the status of a booking. On the Booking page, the Status field is now read-only, instead, you’ll click the Change Status button. This new workflow gives you more options for tracking and managing lost business and alleviates some performance issues experienced by properties with large bookings (500 or more events).
- Option to complete all open tasks when changing the status of a booking to Lost, Cancelled, or Turned Down (CR0089119). You've been waiting for this one. If you need to change the status of a booking to Lost, Cancelled, or Turned Down click the Change Status button on the Booking page. In the Change Booking Status window you'll now see a new option to Mark all existing booking activities complete. Simply select this option and all open tasks for that booking will be marked complete. No need to be reminded to send the BEO or request the rooming list—those tasks are no longer relevant. This keeps the My Tasks section of the Home page accurate and allows you to focus on real work.
This feature only applies to tasks, not appointments—you might need to meet with the customer or operations to work out cancellation details.
- Preview Reports. We're continuing to upgrade your favorite reports to the new report viewer so they run faster and can be exported to Excel, PDF, and a host of other formats. In the Preview Reports section of the Amadeus Reports tab, you'll see these new ones:
We'll eventually replace the reports with the new version, but for now, you have access to both reports. Please take a minute to try these new reports and let us know (email support) if you have any issues or feedback during the preview period.
- Deactivate properties. (CR0130696, CR0122103) Do you have any old properties in your picklist that start with DNU (Do Not Use) or ZZZ? Say farewell to this clutter and use the new Deactivate feature on the Property page. If your company sells or closes a property and it should not be booked anymore, a corporate administrator can now deactivate it. Corporate and system administrators will still be able to run reports on the inactive property's historical data, but the property will no longer display in other picklists. See Deactivate properties
Fixed issues
CR0121159: Access to create a new property is now restricted to corporate administrators.
CR0130952: When you copy items or menus from one event to another, the sort order is retained.
CR0131205: The Do Not Print on Check field is no longer selected on items when you merge or clone a booking.
CR0127099: All Opera reservations not linked to a room block are now deducted from guestroom availability, including transient reservations and those associated with an Opera-only block.
CR0131413: To ensure that transient reservations are successfully processed and availability is correctly updated, an error message now displays when transient reservations are sent by Opera for guestroom types that are missing Guestroom Type Day records.
