Data usage by property report
Corporate administrators often need to determine the data usage of each property to allocate storage costs accurately. With the release of R56, on the Amadeus Settings page, you can now generate a report that shows the approximate data storage consumed by each property based on attributable records. This data can be exported to a CSV file for further aggregation and analysis as needed. For more information, see Data usage by property report.
Ability to show or hide serve times per menu
Often, the banquet team needs to know what time to serve each menu. On occasion, you might not want serve times to display for all the menus on the BEO. As of R56, administrators can now choose whether to show or hide serve times on the BEO, by default, for each menu during menu creation. Users can then modify this setting in the Manage Menus and Items window when detailing their event. For more information, see Manage Menus and Items, Create custom simple menus, and Create custom detailed menus. Corporate administrators, see Show or hide serve times per menu for enablement instructions.
The materialization percent field no longer clones during the clone booking process
To save time with repeat business, users clone bookings to reduce the amount of time with data entry. During the cloning booking process, the materialization percent field was cloned with the same value as the previous booking. This led to inaccurate reporting. As of R56, the materialization percent field does not clone during the clone booking process. For more information, see Clone bookings.
New BEO Batch Merge tab sort and filter capabilities
In R55, Amadeus introduced additional BEO batch merge search fields and updated the search results grid. With R56, we are including more enhancements to the BEO batch merge search process. New filter options and the capability to sort two columns simultaneously can be used to easily narrow your search results. Combined with last release's updates, including the ability to reorder the columns, you can customize your results grid with the exact information you want to see, in the order you want to see it. When you are finished customizing the view, you can save it. You can now save and rename up to five custom views for future use. For more information, see Batch merge booking documents.
These enhancements are available with the Delphi product type only.

New BEO Batch Merge tab sort and filter capabilities
Finding the right BEOs to include in a batch merge for distribution just got easier! To enhance the search for BEO records to batch merge, the Booking Owner and Manager fields have been added to the Batch Merge tab under Enter Search Criteria. In addition, the Select Records to Merge search results grid has new columns. These columns include Function Room Name, Event Classification, BEO Template Name, and three Blended Revenue columns. Users can customize which columns display in the results grid and sort the results by any column. For more information, see Batch merge booking documents .
Ability to include Delphi Diagramming room plan when merging a single BEO
As of R54, we introduced the ability to include Delphi Diagramming room plans when batch merging BEOs. We have further expanded that function to allow the same process when merging a single BEO from the booking. For more information, see Merge.
Booking Day Snapshot purge
We heard your feedback and are thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking solution to ease those costly data storage fees. With this latest release, we are delighted to announce the launch of the Booking Day Snapshot (BDS) purge. The BDS purge efficiently removes Booking Day Snapshot records that are no longer necessary for a property's reporting needs based on the configured settings. This ensures that your data storage is optimized and cost-effective.
This innovative feature is designed to streamline your data management processes and reduce storage costs. Please note that the BDS purge is disabled by default when upgrading to R55. Before enabling this feature, your system or corporate administrator needs to reach out to Amadeus Support. Our dedicated team can grant the ability to enable and configure the purge settings by property. For more information, see Overview: Booking Day Snapshot purge. Corporate administrators, see Enable Booking Day Snapshot Purge for enablement instructions.
Catering Pace Verification report
We are happy to share we now have the ability to view the bookings used to create the Catering Pace report, to help troubleshoot any discrepancies in the numbers with ease. This is a verification sub-report of the Catering Pace Report, which can be accessed via hyperlinks for each month. By selecting a hyperlink, users can run the sub-report that provides detailed information on the individual bookings that contribute to the Catering Pace report for that month. This added function ensures transparency and accuracy, making it easier to identify and resolve any issues. For more information, see Catering pace report.
Menu and item tags
We are delighted to introduce a new feature that enhances the categorization of menus and items, based on your feedback. You can now use item tags at the property level to identify menus and items, such as vegetarian, vegan, containing nuts, or to tag specific kitchen areas like the cold kitchen or pastry kitchen. These tags can also be reported using the Salesforce custom report builder. This enhancement helps teams responsible for preparing menus and items to categorize and route information more efficiently. For more information, see Menu and item tags. Property administrators, see Enable menu and item tags for enablement instructions.
This feature is available with the Delphi product type only.
Visual indicators for filters in Manage Menus & Items and Menu & Item Search windows
Say goodbye to incomplete search results when using the Manage Menu & Items and Menu & Item Search windows. Delphi now offers clear visual indicators when filters are applied and an easy way to remove them, ensuring more accurate results without the need to remember the applied filter. Now, when you clear the filters, the filter bar remains visible. You can continue filtering the results as needed without having to re-open the filter bar. These enhancements ensure a seamless and efficient filtering experience, making it easier to find the information you need. For more information, see Manage menus and items and Add, replace, and copy menus and items.
This feature is available with the Delphi product type only.

Optimized user experience - Salesforce Lightning
Amadeus is delighted to unveil our new optimized Delphi record pages. We invite you to enhance your business operations with Delphi in the Salesforce Lightning experience. Transitioning to Lightning is now so straightforward that corporate administrators can handle it independently. For more information, see Enable the Salesforce Lightning experience.
For the pages that you use daily, leverage the new and improved interface offered by the Lightning experience. The moment you land on the Home page, you will notice it's our first optimized page, designed to welcome you to the Delphi Lightning experience. As you explore further, you will find that we've also optimized the Account, Booking, Booking Event, Contact, Inquiry, Package, Property, and Volume Contract pages. The new Lightning record pages are now organized into tabs, eliminating the need for scrolling to find what you need. This results in significant efficiency improvements and much faster page loads.
If you need help or have many custom fields and customizations in your org, reach out to Amadeus Sales to learn more about our services package offerings.
To assist you and your team in preparing for Lightning, we have introduced Change Management lessons to facilitate the transition. These short lessons guide you through the process and include role-specific sessions for property and corporate admins. Check them out and make the switch today.
New product type - Delphi Core
Amadeus is excited to announce Delphi Core, a new product type for properties that do not need all the advanced features of Delphi. Online help has been rewritten to accommodate Delphi and Delphi Core users. Delphi Core users can click a link at the top of the help page to view information specific to their product type.
UpMail integration
The integration between Delphi and UpMail, which was launched in July 2023, has seen a significant enhancement in both efficiency and user experience. UpMail now seamlessly integrates with MeetingBroker so that users can submit an UpMail proposal from Delphi, Delphi Core, or Delphi Select. The response is then sent to MeetingBroker, ensuring that the escalation process in MeetingBroker is satisfied if the escalation is set for RFP Action. This improvement not only streamlines the workflow but also makes the process more intuitive.
Ability to include Delphi Diagramming room plans when batch merging BEOs
Say goodbye to the hassle of batch merging BEOs and diagrams. If you've ever faced the tedious task of merging these documents, we have the perfect solution for you. We've eliminated the need to print documents from two different products. Now, properties that integrate with Delphi Diagramming can select the new ‘Include Diagrams’ option to include the event room plan with the BEO when batch merging. No changes are required to the BEO template. We are dedicated to saving valuable time by simplifying the way users work. For more information see Overview: Batch merge and Batch merge booking documents.
Delphi to Delphi Diagramming Single Sign-On (SSO)
As of R52, properties that are integrated with Delphi Diagramming no longer need to enter their Delphi Diagramming credentials each time they click View Diagram. After Delphi users log in to Delphi Diagramming from within Delphi the first time, their user credentials are saved until their Delphi Diagramming login information changes. This saves a lot of time when accessing your important room diagrams from within Delphi.
Option event notifications
Never miss an opportunity for an available function room again. Booking and event owners can now be notified when option event function space becomes available. This notification comes in the form of an automatically generated task that shows up in your to-do list. Whether you want one task per booking or one task per event, administrators can customize this feature to meet your needs.
Events are not automatically moved into option event space when the space becomes available, so that you can review all option events and decide which event to move into the function space. Giving customers the function space they want is a great way to ensure customer satisfaction.
Agent and Agency fields added to the Inquiry Detail page
To make your life easier and to help you monitor all business coming from outside agencies, Delphi made the Agent and Agency fields available to be added to the Inquiry Details page by your corporate administrator. Adding these fields provides the agency and agent information from MeetingBroker on the Inquiry page, without opening the RFP recap. You can track third-party details on all leads without creating a booking. Enjoy the ease and efficiency of seamless agency tracking. For more information see View inquiry details. Corporate administrators, see Add Agent and Agency fields to the Inquiry page for enablement instructions.
Import Amadeus Templates
Amadeus is thrilled to introduce a new tool that gives administrators easy access to Amadeus default templates. This provides our existing customers access to improved default templates. For example, in a previous release, a new BEO template including totals was announced, but it was only available in the new property create tool. Existing properties needed to contact Amadeus support for that document. With the new Import Amadeus Templates feature, administrators can download, customize, and use new templates without assistance from support. Administrators can choose to override or keep their existing templates, and downloaded documents can be customized to meet your property's needs.
