New features
-
Show or hide serve times per menu. (CR0138952, CR0138529) Serve times can now be hidden or displayed for each menu individually. This default display setting can be set during menu creation and edited per event in the Manage Menus and Items window. For more information, see Manage Menus and Items, Create custom simple menus, and Create custom detailed menus. Corporate administrators, see Show or hide serve times per menu for enablement instructions.
-
New BEO Batch Merge tab sort and filter capabilities. (CR0126922, CR0127277) In R55, Amadeus introduced additional BEO batch merge search fields and an updated search results grid. With R56, we are including more enhancements to the search results grid. Users can now see a selection of filter options and can sort two columns simultaneously. After the grid is customized, users can save up to five custom views for future use. For more information, see Batch merge booking documents.
These enhancements are available with the Delphi product type only.
-
The materialization percent field no longer clones during the clone booking process. To prevent inaccurate reporting and decrease the level of effort for users updating the field, a change in the booking clone process has been implemented. The materialization percent field does not clone when users use the clone booking feature. For more information, see Clone bookings.
-
Data usage by property report. To allow corporate administrators to determine the data usage of each property to allocate storage costs accurately, a new report has been created. This new report on the Amadeus Settings page, shows the approximate data storage consumed by each property based on attributable records. The data can be exported to a CSV file for further aggregation and analysis as needed. For more information, see Data usage by property report.
-
Ability to manage booking and room block statuses separately. The Enable Room Block Status checkbox is now available on the Core Property Detail page. When this option is selected, a Core property can change the status of a room block independent of the booking. For more information, see Change the room block status and View property details. Corporate administrators, see Add the Enable Room Block Status checkbox to the Property page for enablement instructions.
This feature is now available with the Core product type.

New features
-
New BEO Batch Merge tab sort and filter capabilities. (CR0126922, CR0127277) To enhance the search for BEO records to batch merge for distribution, the Booking Owner and Manager fields have been added to the Batch Merge tab under Enter Search Criteria. Also, the Select Records to Merge results grid now includes these new columns: Function Room Name, Event Classification, BEO Template Name, and three Blended Revenue columns. Users can customize which columns display in the results grid and sort the results by any column. For more information, see Batch merge booking documents.
-
Ability to configure roomblock group code validation and automatic pickup complete without an active PMS integration or at properties without a live PMS integration. Delphi administrators can now configure PMS ID/Group Codes and enable the automatic pickup complete function. For more information, see View property details.
-
Task notifications for booking ownership changes. When you change a booking owner, you can now assign a task to notify the new owner of the ownership change. To use this feature, a new Change Owner button is available for the Booking page with an option to send a task. For more information, see Change the booking owner. Corporate administrators, see Enable the Change Owner task notification feature for enablement instructions.
-
Booking Day Snapshot purge. (CR0134636, CR0134801) Delphi now offers a new solution to reduce data storage fees. The Booking Day Snapshot (BDS) purge feature deletes BDS records that are no longer necessary for a property's reporting needs, based on the configured settings. This feature is disabled by default when upgrading to R55. For more information, see Overview: Booking Day Snapshot purge. Corporate administrators, see Enable Booking Day Snapshot purge for enablement instructions.
-
Ability to include Delphi Diagramming room plans when merging a single BEO. Starting with R54, we added the ability to include Delphi Diagramming room plans when batch merging BEOs. This function is now extended to allow the same process when merging a single BEO from the booking, eliminating the need to print documents from two different products. For more information, see Merge Booking Documents.
-
Catering Pace Verification report. (CR0134516) To monitor and troubleshoot any discrepancies in the Catering Pace report, users can now view the bookings used to create the report. A Catering Pace Verification report has been added as a sub-report option when running the Catering Pace report. For more information, see Catering pace report.
-
Menu and item tags. To categorize and identify menus and items, Delphi now offers item tags. Tags can be created at the property level to identify menus and items, such as vegetarian, vegan, or containing nuts, or to tag specific kitchen areas like the cold kitchen or pastry kitchen. These tags are reportable using the Salesforce custom report builder, helping teams categorize and route information more efficiently. For more information, visit Menu and Item tags. Property administrators, see Enable menu and item tags for enablement instructions.
This feature is available with the Delphi product type only.
-
Visual indicators for filters in Manage Menus & Items and Menu & Item Search. (CR0122039, CR0121827) Delphi now offers clear visual indicators for applied filters in the Manage Menus & Items and Menu & Item Search windows. This enhancement ensures more accurate search results by making filters easy to identify and remove. Also, when filters are cleared, the filter bar remains visible, so users can continue filtering results as needed. For more information, see Manage menus and items and Add, replace, and copy menus and items.
This feature is available with the Delphi product type only.
Integrated product updates
-
Channel Rates and Availability user interface. This feature is for properties integrated with an external API, such as Shop & Book. A Channel Rates and Availability button now displays on the Availability page to access guestroom and package information from the API. Sales managers can use the Channel Rates and Availability interface to search their properties that sell online and view the same availability and pricing for guestrooms and packages as an online shopper. They can then create a booking with that pricing directly from this interface. For more information, see Channel Rates and Availability. Corporate administrators, see Enable channel rates and availability for enablement instructions.
Fixed issues
CR0138235: In the Manage Menus and Items page, users can now copy items from other events even when the search results contain some events with no items.
CR0138443: In the New Guestroom Experience, users can create bookings even when no Guestroom Type Day (GRTD) records exist for the booking dates.
CR0138603: Function room rental revenue is now included in the Estimated Charges table on the default 'BEO with Total Templates' document.
CR0138062: In Delphi Select, open activities from inactive Delphi users no longer display.
