Check availability

The Availability page displays guestroom and function space availability. When you start to use this page, consider the following:
- When you open the Availability page, the availability for the last property you viewed displays. When you open the Availability page for the first time or when you clear your browser cache, your default property displays.
- If you have access to multiple properties, use the Properties list to switch properties or view availability for multiple properties at the same time.
- If you want the Availability page to display the last date you viewed, select Remember Last Availability Date on the Amadeus User Settings tab. With this option cleared, today's date displays.
- With the Prevent Availability Autoload option selected, on the Amadeus User Settings page, availability does not display until you select a property and click Go.
To check availability
- Click the Availability tab.
- Enter the group's arrival date in the Date field and press ENTER, or click Calendar (
) and select the date. - If you have access to multiple properties, use the Property list to do one of the following:
- To add a property to your view, select the checkbox and click Go.
- To remove a property from your view, clear the checkbox and click Go.
Properties with an External Availability integration can select up to three integrated properties.
- To change the time period that displays, click the corresponding button at the top of the page: 1 Day, 3 Days, 1 Week, 2 Weeks
- Use the following sections to view availability for the selected date range:
- Daily Information - This section displays a summary of your inventory, occupancy, and total guestroom revenue per day.
- Guestroom Bookings - This section displays guestroom blocks by booking for the selected date range.
- Function Diary - This section displays the booking events in each function room for the selected date range. You can also view the Function Diary from the Booking page.
Each time you view the Function Diary, verify the applied Function Room Group filters. You might need to change the filters to see all the events that are holding space at the property. Your Function Room Group filter selections still apply the next time you open the Function Diary.

The Availability page displays three sections by default: Daily Information, Guestroom Bookings, and Function Diary. You can hide and display sections as needed. The next time you open the Availability page, your last selections still apply. Click the corresponding button in the top-left corner of the Availability page to hide or display each section.

To open the Availability page in a new tab, click Open in New Window (
) in the top-left corner of the page. When you do so, you can continue to work in other areas while you check availability. To open a section of the page, right-click Daily Information, Guestroom Bookings, or Function Diary in the top-left corner of the page and click View. -
If you leave the Availability page open throughout the day, you need to refresh the page often. To ensure that you have the most up-to-date information, click Refresh (
). - Your corporate administrator configures the Availability page display settings. You can customize this view to meet your individual needs.
- Highlighted dates on the Availability page are called date collections. A date collection calls attention to special dates, such as holidays, citywides, and promotions, that impact your property's rates, inventory, and operations. To view details about a highlighted date, hover over the date column header. You can also click the column header to open the date information in a separate window.
