Delphi Diagramming release notes
New features and fixed issues in the 2025 releases of Delphi Diagramming.
August 12, 2025 (2025 R2)
New features
Redesigned administrator pages. Over the past few releases, Amadeus has been modernizing every part of Delphi Diagramming, and with this release the transformation is complete!
The final administrator pages are now live. Administrators of integrated properties will appreciate the updated Mappings page, now featuring search, filter, and edit capabilities for easier data management and consistency between products. Website Edition administrators will notice updated Content, Media, and Attractions pages redesigned for more efficient use. For more information, see Mappings, Content, Media, and Attractions.
3D Disclaimer. (CR0138597) You can now display a customizable disclaimer when clients view 3D renderings of your diagrams, helping them understand that the visuals might differ from the actual room setup. For more information, see Property details.
New resources. This release includes two new resources. The first is an espresso maker with three different 3D models to choose from. The second, is a multi-tier wedding cake with customizable cake toppers. Choose from bride-groom, bride-bride, groom-groom, or floral cake toppers, and then customize each detail to suit any client's needs.
Doorway textures. To give your customers a better idea of hallway appearances or to show whether a doorway leads outside or to another room, doorway textures can now be added. When changing the 3D appearance of a doorway, use the new Hallway option and select the texture or image that best represents your space.
Change the 3D model of individual resources. Sometimes, you might want certain instances of a 3D model to appear differently from others in the same diagram. With new 3D model customization options, that is now possible. When you select the 3D model within a diagram, the following options are now available:
-
Customize Default - Select this option to customize how all 3D models of a resource appear in the current diagram. This updates every instance of the selected resource without changing its default 3D model. The next time you add that resource to the same diagram, your customized version is automatically used.
-
Customize this Instance - Select this option to customize a single 3D model of a resource without affecting the others in the diagram. This is useful when you want certain instances, like specific tables or chairs, to have unique features such as tablecloths or decorative bows, while leaving the rest unchanged.
This feature gives you more control over customizing your diagram, down to the smallest detail. For more information, see Drawing canvas.
Rotate objects by increments of five degrees. (CR0129277) A new ‘Snap Rotation to Nearest 5 Degrees’ checkbox in User Preferences makes it easier to align elements perfectly. When enabled, your object’s rotation snaps in five degree increments. This is ideal for creating clean lines and level placements. For more information, see User preferences.
Rotate meeting space outlines and polygons. Amadeus knows not every meeting space is a perfect square, and now your diagrams don’t have to be either. You can now rotate meeting spaces and polygons to better reflect the real-world layout of your venue. Windows and doors rotate right along with the room, keeping everything aligned and accurate. For more information, see Meeting space drawing canvas.
Customizable capacity disclaimer. (CR0130401) Website administrators can now display a customizable disclaimer to website visitors browsing meeting spaces, letting them know that actual capacity might vary. This is a simple way to set clear expectations and enhance the guest experience with just a few clicks! For more information, see Property details.
Bookings page as default view. (CR0138896) You can now choose which page opens by default when launching Delphi Diagramming. While the Home page remains the default, you can set the Bookings page to display instead by selecting a new option in User Preferences. For more information, see User preferences.
Show resources history. (CR0138150) The Resources page now includes a button called 'Show Resources History.' Select this option to see a detailed log of all newly created, edited, deleted, or deactivated resources. For more information, see Resources history.
Fixed issues
CR1090973, CR0139120: Placement errors no longer display when objects are placed under the ceiling. Ceiling layer now appears above resources when using send to front.
CR0138837: When selecting Read Only or Diagramming user roles, all other roles become unavailable. If an admin role is chosen, only the other admin role remains selectable, clarifying role assignment restrictions.
Placement alerts no longer appear when working with fixed objects in Meeting Space diagrams.
The resource editor now accurately displays resource sizes, ensuring users have precise information when managing resources.

New Property Edition features
New Capacity Editor. (CR0130532) Last release, we introduced a beautiful new interface for all Delphi Diagramming user pages. This release, we are pleased to add the redesigned Capacity Editor for administrators. All the features you use in the Capacity Editor page are still available, but in a new sleek design. For more information, see Capacity Editor.
New Property Details page. (CR0128560) A new Property Details page is available to administrators. This page replaces the original Home and Options pages and acts as a central location for all property-related updates. This page can be used to manage property images, 3D options, global distance overrides, and more. In addition to all the original options you know, administrators can now assign their property's default font, unit of measurement, and language. All new users will have these options selected by default but can still edit them in User Preferences. For more information, see Property Details.
Ability to customize object labels. (CR0127865, CR0131590, CR0133496) Labels on your event diagrams can now be customized to better represent your event space and your client's vision. You can use this feature to change the text properties of the label, wrap long text, and choose whether the label rotates with the object. For more information, see Drawing canvas.
Updated 3D element labels. Some resources have many elements, which can make customizing their 3D models difficult. Every element of every resource has now been updated with new labels to make element identification easier. For more information, see Edit a resource.
Ability to toggle setup styles on and off. Administrators can now disable unused setup styles. A new checkbox has been added to the Seating Preferences page called Enable Seating Style. When this checkbox is cleared for a given setup style, that setup style no longer displays as an option throughout the rest of Delphi Diagramming. For more information, see Seating preferences.
Fixed issues
CR0138993: The mass import feature now supports MMR and MMS files.
Date tabs on the Booking Details page accurately reflect the dates of the booking events.
Door elevations display correctly in the 3D rendering of a diagram.
Hidden resources are no longer visible on diagrams.
Links that launch Google Maps are no longer redirected to Bing.

With this feature, you can add chairs to a skirted table, add additional chairs at a table already at max capacity, indicate the number of chairs to be placed at each side of the table, and more. The chair arrangement options are available under table properties and can be used to better represent your space. For more information, see Chair arrangement tool.

CR0138854: Growable objects display as expected in the 3D rendering of a diagram.
CR0138857: When the Allow Booking Creation checkbox is cleared, users with access to an integrated property can use the Quick Create button on the Quick Room Plans page.
When the Rotate number with the object checkbox is cleared, numbered resources are not rotated on the print preview of a diagram.
When Autosave is enabled, changes on the Meeting Space drawing canvas and Layouts page are automatically saved.
When 3D Sharing is disabled for the property, users no longer see the 3D Share Expiration column on the Quick Room Plans page or the Include 3D Sharing checkbox when sharing a diagram.
Fill patterns applied to basic shapes display on the PDF output of a diagram.
Inline Help displays correctly for the Users and User Details pages.
Room plans can be imported from a URL on the Booking page.

Announcement
3D Diagramming went through a makeover in July of 2023, giving you enhanced imagery and new controls for a more immersive experience. Over the last year, users have been able to use the classic experience until they were ready to use the new experience. This announcement serves as notice that the classic 3D experience has been decommissioned.
Customizations made to classic 3D resources do not transfer to the new 3D experience. If your property has customized resources not already updated for the new 3D experience, see the Activate 3D section of Diagrams in 3D.
New Property Edition features
-
New user experience. The most noticeable feature of this release is our brand new user-friendly interface. The pages you use every day have been redesigned for an enhanced user experience. Along with the new design, Online Help has been updated and moved inline to guide users throughout their day. You can now click Help (
) on any page and the corresponding help topic opens inline. This prevents you from needing to toggle back and forth between tabs.
-
Navigation menu. At the top-left of every page is an icon to expand the new Navigation menu (
). You can use this menu to access all areas of the application. Users with an Admin role also have access to all pages in the product specific to administrators.
-
Home page. A home page has been added to help you access the information you are most likely to need. Sections on the Home page include: Recent Bookings, Recent Diagrams, and Upcoming Arrivals. To learn more about the Home page and details of each of its sections, see Home.
-
Recycle Bin. (CR0134582) As of this release, all deleted room plans, bookings, events, and diagrams are sent to the Recycle Bin. Deleted items stay there for 30 days before being permanently removed from the system. Until that time, you can use the Recycle Bin to restore deleted items. See Recycle bin for more information.
-
New movement controls with new 3D. Navigation within your 3D diagram has improved. Once you view your room diagram with new 3D, the following functions are available:
-
Use your mouse to direct a destination circle on your page, and then click to go to that destination.
-
Hold your mouse button down and move the mouse to look around in any direction.
-
Use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom your view in and out.
-
If you prefer to use your keyboard for navigation, you can use your keyboard arrow keys, or the W, A, S, and D keys to navigate the diagram.
-
-
Ability to show numbers and labels in 3D. (CR0134027) Numbers and labels assigned to objects display in the 3D rendering of the diagram.
-
Change 3D textures in Meeting Space Editor. You can now change the 3D textures of a meeting space directly from the Meeting Spaces page.
-
User Management enhancements. (CR0138201) Several user management enhancements have been made in this release. For example, a default property is now required when creating a new user, and users with an administrator role can update another user's MFA default option. In addition, a new User Preferences window has been added, which includes new default printing options. See User preferences for more information.
-
Ability to sort diagrams by diagram or event name during batch printing. (CR0132364) When batch printing, you can now choose to set your printing order by diagram or event name, in addition to the existing date option.
